Herbert Juenemann

Herbert Francis Juenemann was born December 3, 1925, in Willow Lake Township, Redwood County, the son of John and Agatha (Hillesheim) Juenemann. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clements. Herbert attended District 67 country school and served with the U.S. Army from 1950-52 as a Corporal (T5). He farmed with his father and brothers on the home farm until health forced his retirement. Herbert was a member of the Catholic Aid Society and became a resident of Gil Mor Manor in Morgan in February of 2010. He enjoyed old time music and his family including his 36 nieces and nephews. Herbert Francis Juenemann died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Gil Mor Manor at the age of 84 years. He is survived by brothers- Richard, Denis (Pat), and Bennett (Shirley); sister Bernice Goblirsch; 36 nieces and nephews; and many friends including his dog Shep. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters- Dorothy Sellner and Laurene Hoehn; baby boy Juenemann in infancy; and brothers-in-law- Clement Sellner and Lawrence Goblirsch.
