Henry Andrew Rothmeier was born on November 17, 1911 in Stark Township, Brown County, MN, the son of George R. Helena (Wurtzberger) Rothmeier. He grew up and attended country school in Stark Township. After he completed his schooling, Henry lived and farmed in Stark Township. He retired and later moved to St. John's Lutheran Home in Springfield in 2001 due to health complications. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye and the Sleepy Eye Eagles Club. He enjoyed playing concertina, going to ball games at Stark and especially cooking for his cats and dogs on the farm. Survivors include his sister, Leona Helget of Springfield and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, George, Joe and Frank, and sisters, Ann (Otto) Neidecker, Katie (Louie) Neidecker, Mary (John) Helget, Rose (Alfred) Fischer, Louise (Art) Helget and brother-in-law, Florian Helget.
