Henrietta Lee

Henrietta Lee was born on March 23, 1920, to Henry and Anna (Rassmunsen) Birkemeyer in Evan, MN. On August 28, 1941, Hank married Edward W. Lee. The couple farmed at Lake Park, MN and after 3 years moved back to the Morgan and Springfield area. In 1975, Hank and Edward moved into Springfield and retired from farming in 1987. Hank enjoyed dancing, traveling, handiwork, reading, flowers, watching the Minnesota Twins, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and active in the circle. Hank is survived by her children - Bonnie (Bruce) Bloemke of New Ulm and Dan (Jennifer) Lee of Plymouth; granddaughter Kara (Randy) Platz and their children - Jack, Jake, Tom, and Camille of Springfield; grandson Ross (Stacey) Bloemke of Walnut Grove; and extended family.
