Helen Seifert

Helen Gertrude Seifert was born November 17, 1914 in Springfield, thedaughter of John Lang Sr. and his wife Mary (Kreitwger) Lang. She attended and graduated from Springfield High School. On June 9, 1943 she married Joseph L. Seifert at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. The couple moved to Lamberton until 1953 when they moved to Everett, WA and returned to Springfield in 1998. Helen was a member of the St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield and enjoyed bowling, Old Time Music, craft painting, and loved to be with people. Helen died on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her special niece - Sandra and husband Gary Lindmeier of N. Mankato and their children - Troy Lindmeier of N. Mankato and Susan and husband David Sprinkle of Los Angeles, CA; a special nephew - Steve 'Stella' and wife Sheila Forster of Springfield and their children - Sarah Forster of Springfield and Stephanie Forster of Springfield; and several other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph in 1986 and 11 brothers and sisters.
