Helen Forster

A long, arduous journey has ended as our dear mother crossed over to God's realm. She suffered over the past several years and thrice-escaped death's grip always to her doctors'amazement. Equally amazing is her loving sister, Lucile Middleton 96, who survives her. Mother also left behind her four children: Robert Forster, Beverly Cleary, Marian Belle and John Forster...her grandchildren: Todd Forster, Lisa Hoffmann, Jerry Forster,Kristy Suess, Sandi Sportelli, Colin Cleary, Aaron Bloom and Jeremiah Forster...great grand children: Jesse, ShyAnn, Kallie, and Megan...and many nieces, nephews and friends. As a family, we are united in faith that she has been folded in the arms of her parents, Ada and Rolf Mo, as well as her husband of 67 years, Walter Forster, who preceded her in death. To all the special caregivers and friends of mother who touched her with their selfless kindnesses while quietly carrying out the Queen Bee's orders, we express our sincere gratitude. Even though she needed others to help her these past several years, she spent most of her adult life giving of herself to others. She certainly left her mark on many in Sleepy Eye. First as a country schoolteacher and then an English teacher at St.Mary's, many were taught the proper usage of lie and lay, she and her, and to never-ever end a sentence with a preposition. Her work is done here, but we think there are English bogglers who need her help in heaven, so with our blessing
