Heidi Ruth 'Jordy' Nelson

Heidi Ruth Nelson was born on January 12, 1971 to Melvin Arnold and Judith Mattson in Fridley, MN. She grew up in Blaine, downtown Anoka was her stomping grounds in the late 80's to 90's. She lived in Las Vegas and left a piece of her heart in the desert. She loved music and being alive. She always had a smile on her face and laughter in her heart. She loved her girls and her grandchildren. Serving at the Lamplighter fueled her soul. Her life was a journey and she lived it without a road map and that suited her just fine. If you see a heart or cool rock, that's Heidi saying "Hi!" Heidi was a huge Packer Fan and loved taking pictures. She is survived by her mother, Judy Sellner, brothers, Steve (Heidi) Mattson, Tim (Beth) Sellner, daughters, Brianna (Thomas) Mattson-Kolbe, McKinzie Mattson-Waldron, Hannah (Mark) Nelson, grandson, Jaiden Chavez, granddaughter, Sophia Chavez, cat son, Georgie, soul sister, Becky Portner and special friend, Matt Neal. She was preceded by her step father, Chuck Sellner and biological father, Mel Mattson.
