Heather Rae Anderson

Heather “Hetty” Rae Anderson, age 49, passed away unexpectedly at her La Salle, MN home on September 26, 2024.

A visitation will be held at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James, MN on Wednesday October 16, 2024 from 5pm-7pm.  Funeral services will be held at New Life Community Church in Floodwood, MN on Saturday October 26th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Fine Lakes Township Cemetery. Heather Rae Anderson was born October 12th, 1974, in Banbury England. Heather grew up in the north of Cromwell, MN and graduated from Cromwell High School. She called La Salle her home through her adult years.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we also hold a deep appreciation for the joy and love she brought to our lives. Heather was a very caring person who wore her heart on her sleeve, a doting daughter, sister and Aunt. She loved her puppies Henry, Ruffus, Charlie and Verta. She was passionate about Volunteering for the local Fire Department, hunting and the outdoors along with John Wayne movies, horses, playing darts and always had a Bud Light and Grizzly Chew nearby.

She is survived by her mother, Carlyn Anderson; brothers Gerald “Jay” Anderson and Mark (Renee) Anderson; and her beloved nieces, Jayme Anderson and Holly Burley, aunt Kay Kytola, several cousins and the friends that became family, Sheri Anderson, Jim Krogstad, and Mark and Amanda Etienne.

Heather was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Anderson and sisters, Beverly and Mildred “Midge”.

She will be deeply missed by all that knew her and never forgotten by those that loved her.
