Harold Shorty Evans Warner Sr., the son of Sam and Pearl (Evans) Warner was born on July 4, 1930 in Lake Crystal, MN. He was baptized in the Presbyterian faith. Harold was united in marriage to Myrtle Ahern on July 5, 1960 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. This marriage was blessed with two children: Therese and Harold Jr. Harold worked for the turkey plant, Gopher Concrete, and Tony Downs. He enjoyed drinking coffee and socializing at the Triangle Cafe. He loved tending to his lawn, being out at the lake and going for boat rides. Celebrating his birthday was important to him as it was also the 4th of July. He cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Myrtle; daughter, Therese Miller (Tim) Domeier of New Ulm; son, Harold Warner Jr. of Madelia; grandchildren, Jamie (Mary), Brandon (Pam), Eric (fianc Erin) Michael and Jay; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Inez Spindahl of Madelia, Blodwin (Walter) Nonnemacher of New Ulm, Merle (Joan) Warner of New Prague; brother-in-law, sister-in-law, Marion (Curt) Hanson of Mankato and Albert Ahern of Madelia.
