Harold Knakmuhs

Harold Edward Knakmuhs was born January 6, 1959 in Marshall, MN, the son of John Florence (Hamilton) Knakmuhs. He lived in Walnut Grove and in 1972 he moved with his family to Springfield. Harold graduated from Springfield High School in 1977. Following graduation, Harold worked for Ochs Brick Company, Neil Sod, and was currently employed at Coleman. Harold loved bowling, time on the computer, and watching sports. He especially enjoyed time with his dog Angel. Harold died on Monday, February 20, 2006 at his home in Springfield, MN. He is survived by his mother - Florence Knakmuhs of Springfield; a brother - Charles and wife Janet Knakmuhs of Lake Crystal, MN; sisters - Judy Wendland of Albert Lea, MN, Vicki Schwantes of Mankato, MN, and Brenda and husband Robert Weinrabe of Jackson, MN; nieces and nephews - Justin Wendland, Wendy Wendland, Wannetta Weinrabe, Shawn Knakmuhs, and Bobbie Weinrabe; a special friend - Angie Nelson; and special family friends - John and Steve Pistulka of Springfield, MN. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; father - John H. Knakmuhs; and nieces - Denise Knakmuhs and Jennifer Knakmuhs.
