Gladys M Moravetz age 90, of Springfield, MN died on September 23, 2016, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. Service will be held at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield on Thursday at 11:00 am. The clergy will be Chaplain Noel Wetter. Interment will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield, MN. In lieu of flowers please donate to St John's Lutheran Home or Alzheimer's Research Gladys Moravetz was born on December 22, 1925, in Norman Township, near Porter, MN, the daughter of Edward and Myrtle (Miller) Cleveland. She attended and graduated from Canby High School. Gladys was united in marriage to Ernest Moravetz on April 7, 1947, in Canby, MN. The couple resided in Ivanhoe, MN, before moving to Springfield in 1954. In 1993, they moved to Tucson, AZ and returned to Springfield in 2007. Gladys worked for Dr. E.L. Penk and the Springfield Medical Center. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Springfield Golf Course. Gladys enjoyed playing golf, bridge, and the friendship of her birthday group. She is survived by her children - Linda (James) Renner of The Villages, FL, Vicki (Barry) Armstrong of Golden Valley, MN, and Melissa (David) Prokosch of Springfield, MN; grandchildren - Jill (Nathan) Sargent, Kyle (Nikki) Renner, Emily (Greg) Kuzinski, Reid Lang, Ashley (Ryan ) Anderson, Heather (Eugene) Slaba, and Kendall Prokosch; 9 great grandchildren; a sister - Elda Amundson; 3 brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ernest in 2011; 4 brothers-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; and mother and father in-law - Louis and Eva Moravetz.
