George Suess

George M. Suess was born on April 3rd, 1903 in Sleepy Eye, MN the son of John Barbara (Reminger) Suess. He grew up and attended country school in Albin Township. George married Ann Stromann on August 27th, 1929 in Sleepy Eye. The couple lived and farmed near Sleepy Eye. Ann preceded George in death in 1964. George continued to live on the farm until moving to Divine in November of 2004. George was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Survivors include, brother, Ben wife Marcella Suess of Sleepy Eye and sister-in-law, Gertrude Suess of Sleepy Eye and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ann in 1964, brothers, Joe and Florian and sister, Theresa.
