Genevieve Kreitinger

Ms Kreitinger was born in Springfield, December 1906 to Joseph and Augusta (Walk) Kreitinger. She graduated from Springfield High School and St Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, St Paul MN as a Register Nurse in 1928. She worked in general and private duty nursing until 1935 where she joined the Theo Hamm Brewing Co. as an Industrial Nurse where she worked until her retirement in 1960. She was a member of the Nurses Alumnae Chapter of the College of St. Catherine, St. Joseph Hospital unit, National and Minnesota League for Nursing, Board member of Minnesota Occupational Health Nursing Org., Catholic Daughters of America and Ramsey County Medical Girls Club. She was preceded in death by her brothers Vincent, Bernard, Carl and Albert and her sisters Frances Schaefer, Helen Wooldrik and Marie Wooldrik. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and a great number of friends.
