Gary Blick

Gary Michael Blick was born October 8, 1966, in Hennepin County. He was adopted by Lowell and Nancy (Sandmann) Blick on February 3, 1967, and baptized at St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield. Gary received his confirmation at St. John Lutheran Church in Morgan in 1981. He graduated from Morgan High School in 1985 where he loved wrestling and worked very hard at it. Gary went to work in the Twin City area and loved his jobs working with wood and making cabinets. His son Travis was born December 27, 1990, and was his constant companion. Gary's biological sister Elodie located him about 10 years ago. He enjoyed watching football, fishing, playing catch, and cards. Gary Michael Blick died Saturday, February 4, 2006, as the result of an auto accident in Ham Lake at the age of 39 years. He is survived by his son- Travis; parents- Lowell and Nancy Blick of Morgan; sister- Suzanne Kanzenbach of Greeley, CO; grandmother- Marilyn Sandmann of Morgan; biological sister- Elodie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother- Charles in 1983; grandfathers- Edner Blick in 1988 and Ellsworth Sandmann in 2002; and grandmother- Julia Blick in 2006. He will be missed greatly by all.
