He is survived by his wife, Christine Hieronymus, children, Kari (Kevin) Hieronymus-Hanson of LaCrosse, WI, Kimberly Hieronymus of Colorado Springs, CO, Bradley Hieronymus of Bozeman, MT, grandchild, Mackenzie Mackie Reese Hanson, step children, Tammi, Pam, David, Chris, Dawn, Mark Adam, mutiple step granchildren, 3 great step granchildren, brothers sisters, Mary Mae (Gardell) Marti of Sleepy Eye, Lorraine (Ron) McAuly of The Village, FL, William Hieronymus of Texas, Irene Hieronymus of Sparta, TX, half sisters, Romona Corheh, Darlene Hamilton, both of Oklahoma, Nancy Johnson of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Danny Hieronymus and Phillip Dahlstrand. Frank or as many knew him as Rooster was a true cowboy not only in his heart but by all who has touched his life. He loved seeing the country as he drove truck for a good many years of his life. But his favorite spot on earth was Montana. Frank, a man who worked very hard his whole life and took pride in all that he has ever done, from logging to breaking horses to mechanical work, but the road always seemed to call him back out to it. Rooster was a man who was always the first to jump in and help when he seen someone in need - his heart was as big as his cowboy hat. He loved to hunt, but his passion was fishing. Not only by taking a second to pull over on the side of the road by himself, he loved fishing with all his family, passing down his wisdom to his children and grandchildren teaching them the trick of getting a fish - or how to tell a tale of the one that got away. He was a man who loved with all his heart and soul. But because of that Rough Cowboy exterior was not always easy for him to convey. But if you knew him all you had to do was look into his bright blue eyes and you could see all that he was holding in his heart for you. Life was not always easy for Frank, but he took everything in life handed with strength-he may have been bucked more than once by the horse but he always got up, dusted himself off and jumped right back on the rest of the ride. His face was like a great novel to read every line, every scar was a great story in his life. Frank found the love of his life Christine later in life and within her he found the peace he so needed. He found love and hope and his best friend. She helped show the softer side of Rooster. Frank had a sense of humor like no other. He could make a person laugh just by being next to him, so with his own words as he has told many - I'm sure he would like to tell you one last time to always keep your tits outta the mud and your powder dry. An old fisherman never dies they just keep bobbin along - so take comfort in the fact he is now at the best fishing hole in the sky with a beer in hand. Rest easy knowing you have the most amazing angel now keeping watch over you. He just happens to be a cowboy!
