Francis Ibberson

Francis "Bud" Ibberson was born on July 29, 1925, at the family farm in Home Township, Brown County. He farmed his whole life and enjoyed what he did. He was united in marriage to Sharon Weber on August 28, 1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Bud was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye and was a Knights of Columbus member and enjoyed attending their events. After the death of Sharon, Bud was united in marriage to Angeline Schimschock on August 25, 1996. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, playing cards, and dancing. Bud enjoyed being a "snowbird" and their winters in Arizona. Bud loved his family, farming, and his dog Rosebud. He is survived by his sons - Dean (Diane) of Sleepy Eye, Doug of Evan, and Todd (Heidi) of Sleepy Eye; daughters - Linda Ibberson of New Ulm, Cindy (John) Mages of Belgrade, and Michelle (Pete) Schumacher of Sleepy Eye; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister Myrtyce Remus of Sleepy Eye; step-children - Mary Jane Price and special friend Gary Bendickson of Spring Park, Michael (Cindy) Hillesheim of New Ulm, Catherine Malecha of Isanti, Joseph (Rhonda) Hillesheim of East Bethel, and Jerroll (Teri) Hillesheim of St. Francis; step grandchildren; and step great grandchildren and sister-in-law Marcia Weber, Comfrey. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; wives - Sharon Ibberson and Angeline Ibberson; and brothers - Martin, Sherman, Tom Ibberson and step-daughter Marjorie Ridgeway.
