Frances Hackett

Frances Hackett, age 93, of St. James died on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am, Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in St. James. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James from 4:30pm until 7pm, with a rosary at 4:00pm. Memorials may be directed to the St. James Catholic Church Restoration Fund. Frances Fran loved life, her family, her friends, her church, where she was a member of Catholic Daughters, and the community she lived in for more than 70 years. Fran enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home. She was an avid bridge player, liked to play golf, wear hats, and tend her rose garden. She loved to travel to visit family and friends. Her travels took her throughout the United States, and to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Fran participated in life fully and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Fran is survived by her children; Mary Sid Mirhoseini of Germantown, WI, Kathleen Robert Lambert of River Falls, WI, John Tom Linda Hackett of St. James, Jerry Nancy Hackett of Harlowton, MT, David Junko Hackett of Tokyo, Japan, sister; Birdell Porter of Vancouver, WA, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; Gerald Jiggs Hackett, son; Richard Patrick Hackett, 2 grandson; Kevin Lambert, John Thomas Hackett, brother; Warren Bud Kruck.
