Floyd Johnson

Floyd Julius Johnson was born on March 25, 1931 in Prairieville Township, Brown County, the son of August A.J. and Florence (Prosch) Johnson. He attended and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School. He farmed his entire life on the home farm in Prairieville Township. Floyd was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Evan where he was baptized and confirmed. Floyd enjoyed sports, International tractors, and being outdoors. Floyd died on Monday, October 18, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his sister - Helen Greenberg and friend Jake Pionk of Underwood, MN; 5 nieces, and 2 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister - Alice Mae Fischer; and brothers - Lennis, Lloyd, and Robert.
