Florence Mae 'Flossie' Current

Florence Mae (Weiss) Current was born on May 27, 1939 to Lawrence and Anna (Saffert) Weiss in Sleepy Eye, MN. She grew up and lived on the family farm until she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Current on May 25, 1957 at St. Mary's Church in Sleepy Eye. After marriage, Flossie and Bill moved to Delano, MN where they raised their children, Allen, Timothy, Cathy and Beverly. Flossie enjoyed gardening, baking, canning, crocheting doilies and afghans and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Flossie passed peacefully with family at her side. Flossie is survived by her children; sons, Allen and Timothy; daughters, Cathy (Doug) Grossinger and Beverly (Kevin) Hillesheim, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary (Doyle) Krypzick; sisters-in-law; Karen Weiss, Donna (Current) Battig, Muriel Current and Ramona Current. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, parents, brothers, Sylvester, Linus and Victor; sisters, Viola, Lillian and Margaret.
