Eunice Verna Windschitl

Eunice Verna (Trebesch) Windschitl, age 88, of Sleepy Eye, MN, died on July 9, 2021, at the Sleepy Eye Care Center. Eunice was born on January 15, 1933 in Sleepy Eye, MN, the daughter of Arthur and Verna (Meinert) Trebesch. She graduated from Sleepy Eye High School in 1951 and was married to Lenus Windschitl on April 20, 1954. She loved to embroider dish towels, and we have well over 100 of them! She also loved to visit with her family and friends, going to the lake, golfing, playing cards and hanging out with Lucy, her very favorite great-granddog! Eunice worked for BIC (formerly Hass Press and AUI) for many decades and at The Orchid Inn in retirement. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Eunice is survived by her son, James Windschitl of Sleepy Eye; daughter, Leann (Steve) Woessner of Corcoran; grandchildren, Matthew (Nicole) Woessner, Amanda (Jake) Krings, Jacque, Amber; great-grandchildren, Mason Krings, Paige Krings, Savanah Woessner; and a brother, Patrick (Nancy) Trebesch. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lenus and brother, Myron Trebesch. Memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church, Sleepy Eye.
