Eunice Green

Eunice Ella Green was born on September 8, 1926 in Mt. Lake, MN, the daughter of George and Louise (Marinou) Mohlenbrock. Eunice left home at an early age to work and live in Butterfield, MN. There is where she met George Schmidt and this union was blessed with three children. Following the death of her husband George Eunice married Duane Nelson. After Duane's death she married Lawrence Green on June 14, 1996. Lawrence died on May 8, 2005. Eunice enjoyed gardening, outside yard work, helping withthe Threshing Bee and going fishing. Eunice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. Eunice has lived in Butterfield, Windom, Marshall, Mt. Lake, and recently was living back in Windom. She is survived by two children - Charlene Schmidt, Bohn, Corn and husband Scott of Orlando, FL and Marcia Petersen and husband Dan of Fairmont, MN; 5 grandchildren - Elizabeth N. Bohn, Stephen D. Bohn Jr., Heather Petersen, Heidi Petersen, and Holly Petersen; 4 great grandchildren - Joshua, Dillan, Xander, and Jaylynn; brothers sisters - Violet Schlomann of St. James, Ethel Harder of Colorado Springs, CO, Clara Johnson of Windom, and Norma Smith of Willmar, MN; and many neices, nephews, friends, andneighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands - George Schmidt, Duane Nelson, and Lawrence Green; son - Lowell Schmidt, brothers -Edger Mohlenbrock, George Mohlenbrock, Jr, and Henry Mohlenbrock; and sisters - Elva Harder and Rosie Blom.
