Eunice Marjorie Anderson

Eunice Marjorie Nordsiden Anderson, 98 died peacefully on December 18, 2024 at West Wind Village in Morris, MN.

Eunice was born on September 29, 1926, in Ann Township, Cottonwood County to Henry and Ora (Wilson) Nordsiden.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove, MN.  Eunice graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1944.  Eunice was united in marriage to Arvid Anderson on August 22, 1946.  They lived on the farm in Ann Township until moving to Lamberton.  She moved to Morris to live with her daughter Kristine before entering the West Wind Village.  Besides being a farm wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She held several jobs, as a telephone operator, TMA at Valley View Manor in Lamberton and a home health nurse.  She was very proud of her Norwegian heritage.  She spent many hours working on family history.  Eunice enjoyed writing and receiving letters; she had beautiful penmanship.  She loved going to rummage sales.  Eunice enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting, and square dancing.  She taught many of her grandchildren to make lefse.

Eunice is survived by her children - Arlie (Dianne) Anderson of Lamberton, Bruce (Barbara) Anderson of Lamberton, Todd (Brenda) Anderson of Lamberton; and Kristine Hutchings of Morris; 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Arvid, grandchildren - Jesse and Rachel Hutchings and Chad Anderson; brothers - Clifford (Ebba) Nordsiden and Floyd (Luella) Nordsiden.
