Esther West

Esther West was born on July 21, 1932, in Springfield, MN, the daughter of August and Hellena (Henning) Falk. She was united in marriage to Oren West on October 14, 1953 in Springfield, MN. She worked at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield for over 30 years. Esther enjoyed cooking, embroidery, working on puzzles, and playing cards. Esther died on June 25, 2021, at St. John Lutheran Home at the age of 88. She is survived by her children - Randy (Paula) West of IA, Rodney (Cindy) West of SD, Ronda (Leon) Luck of Sanborn, MN, and Bryan West of IA; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and brothers - Bobby Falk and Denny Falk. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers - August, Rudolph, Gerald, Charles, Roland, Herman, Richard, and Edward.; and sisters - Florence Oeltjenburns and Helen Good.
