Esther Doris Foy

Esther Doris (Simpson) Foy was born January 22, 1923 to Floyd and Rosie (Kallsen) Simpson in Windom, MN. She attended district #79 country school in Cottonwood County. Esther married Ray Kansanback on April 24, 1946. Ray died in September of 1968. She then married Norman Foy on August 29, 1981. Norman died in April 2005. She was a long time resident of Sanborn where she was a member of the United Methodist Church. Esther enjoyed cooking, flowers and especially spending time with her family and friends. Esther Doris Foy age 95, of Springfield, MN, died on October 19, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield. Esther is survived by sisters - Mary (Gary) Raitz of Brooklyn Park, Arlene (Glenn) Dammann of Springfield, Delores Hogen of Redwood Falls; step-children - Don, Jamie (Dale), Doug (Laurel), Dennis, Mike (Susan), Pat (Tami) and Darin (Natasha); along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; husbands - Ray and Norman; sisters - Gladys Burns, Ethel Dungey and Helen Kaseforth.
