Eric Jon McMullen was born in Madelia, MN, on April 27, 1989 to parents Larry McMullen and Kimberly (Swenson) McMullen. He attended school in Madelia before moving to St. James where he attended school. Eric was a senior at St. James High School at the time of his death. Eric loved to watch Wheel of Fortune on TV. He also enjoyed playing in the pool and going on walks around the neighborhood. He enjoyed pasta meals, his blanket, and being around others to a point. Eric was preceded in by grandparents Robert McMullen and Bill Emily Whitehead. He is survived by his mother and step-father Kimberly William Whitehead of St. James, father and step-mother Larry Barb McMullen of Madelia, brothers Allen Byrne, Jr. of Fort Bragg, NC, Thomas McMullen of St. James, Christopher Whitehead of St. James, a sister Destiny Whitehead of St. James, grandparents Mary Swenson of Madelia, Curt Lynnette Swenson of Madelia and Theresa McMullen of Madelia.
