Emma Hudson

Emma Bertha Hudson was born February 7, 1913, in South Branch Township, Watonwan County, Minnesota the daughter of Emil and Augustana (Aust) Firchau. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. James and lived her entire life in the St. James area. Emma was united in marriage to Severt Charles Hudson on January 11, 1932. Emma Hudson died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at St. James Pleasant View Good Samaritan Home at the age of 98 years. She is survived by children- Donna Watson of Eight Mile, AL, Donald and wife Diane Hudson of St. James, and Glen and wife Suzette Hudson of Woodville, WI; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband Severt, daughters Betty Ann Janice, son Charles, grandsons Larry Schwanz Kerry Bowers, 4 brothers, 2 sisters 3 sons-in-law.
