Elva V. Moll was born on February 10, 1920 at home in Stark Township, Brown County, MN, the daughter of Arthur Rosela (Jungers) Bellig. She grew up and attended school in Iberia. Elva married Eldred Moll on September 7, 1939 in Sleepy Eye, MN. The couple made their home just East of Sleepy Eye where they have lived and farmed for many years. Elva resided at the Sleepy Eye Care Center for a short time before moving to Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm where she lived for the last few years. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Sleepy Eye where she was active in the church circles. She was a member of the Extension Group and helped extensively at the family run turkey hatchery. Elva enjoyed fishing trips to Canada, traveling, spending winters in Mesa, gardening and especially spending time with her family at their lake home. Elva V. (Bellig) Moll, 87, of New Ulm, MN died on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm, MN Survivors include her husband Eldred of Sleepy Eye, daughter, Neoma Peterson of North Mankato, twin sons, Dean (Carla) of Sleepy Eye and Donn (Gail) of Moraga, CA, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and sister Marjorie Kramer of Sleepy Eye. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Ethel (Joe) Haas, brother-in-law, Lawrence Kramer and son-in-law, Rod Peterson.
