Elsie Shebetka

Elsie Elizabeth Shebetka was born October 3, 1908 in El Paso, Illinois, the daughter of Ida Albert Blackmore. She married Anton Shebetka February 14, 1933 in Kankakee, Illinois and settled in rural Sleepy Eye. Survivors include her three children: Jerry (Florence) of Elk River, MN, Marlene Kraus of New Ulm, MN, Judy Seago of St. Louis, MO, six grandchildren: Terry Shebetka, Sedona, AZ; Lori (Jeff) Filipek, Willmar, MN; Sandra (Randy) Bair, Prior Lake, MN; Jennifer (Greg) Audette, Andover, MN; Brian Kraus, New Ulm, MN; Bradley Kraus, New Ulm, MN; ten great grandchildren: Garrett, Ryan, and Taylor Filipek; Asha, Justin and Joshua Kraus; Brock and Emily Audette; Dylan and Ashley Bair; stepchildren, Lanny (Mary) Westphal, Nancy (Shawn) Norton, Glenn Westphal and Diane (Greg) Baima. She was preceded in death by husband, Anton, parents, Ida and Albert Blackmore, brothers, Emmett, Arthur, Claude and Clarence Blackmore and sisters, Blanch Stouffer and Florence Johnson.
