Else Bolland

Else Erna Bolland (Bachmann), the daughter of Peter and Valerie Muller Bachmann was born on November 6, 1929 in Neuhof, Poland. Else received her education in Poland. She then immigrated to the United States on July 22, 1950, she was 20 years old. She was united in marriage to Donald Bolland on June 24, 1951, this marriage was blessed with 6 children. Donald and Else later divorced. Else was devout in her faith, she was an active member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Ormsby. She was a volunteer for 25 years at the nursing home, involved with children's 4-H activities, a member of the St. James Garden Club, a member of the church choir and a member of the Ormsby Hometown Choir. She had a life long love of gardening, baking and canning. Else also enjoyed knitting, embroidering, needlepoint, crocheting and sewing. She also enjoyed meeting her friends for coffee. Else is survived by her children, Howard (Terry) Bolland of Red Wing, Edith (Larry) Langsev of Albert Lea, Arden (Terri) Bolland of Burnsville, Ronald and (special friend Cathy) of Bloomington, Lorraine Bolland and (special friend Randy) of Rochester and Brenda (Rafael) Osorio of King City, CA; grandchildren, Jenna, Amanda, Eric, Kirsten, Andrew, Michael, Zachariah, Kayla, Jennifer, Osiris, Mike, Isis, Yezirah and Alexander, Matthew, Christopher; great grandchildren, Chanelle, Siara, Javon, Travanti, Traevon, Maleah; and nephew Lowell (Arleen) Linscheid.
