Elliott Cole Dewar

Elliott Cole Dewar age 76, of Lewisville, Minnesota died on May 22, 2022, at his home. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel in Madelia, Minnesota. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Elliott Cole Dewar was born on May 21, 1946 in Milaca, MN, in the county of Mille Lacs, to Sterling A. and Roxie (Elliott) Dewar. He graduated from Truman High School, enlisted right into the U.S. Army and was a part of the Vietnam era and Gulf War era with the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Air Force in 2006. He loved the family farm and loved farming it before he joined the Air Force 133rd Aerial Port Squadron in the Twin Cities. His favorite things to do were to watch war pictures and Westerns (and there was nothing he didn't know about these subjects). His other passion was building models and gardening. He loved flowers and succulents. Elliot is survived by his wife, Vickie Dewar, whom he married in Truman, MN on June 8th, 1978.
