Ella Essig

Ella Margaret was born June 6, 1910 to Albert and Lucy (Yelk) Guse in Springfield, MN. On January 17, 1929 she married Chester Essig. Ella was a resident of Springfield all but a brief time after marriage. She enjoyed reading and was an avid Vikings fan. She especially enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ella Margaret Essig, 96, of Springfield, MN died on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. Ella is survived by her daughter Audrey Rositzke of Springfield; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Jean Guse of Kirkwood, MO and many nieces and nephews. Ella is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester; son-in-law - Clifford Rositzke; a great grandson; brothers - Arthur and Milton Guse and a sister-in-law - Cleo Guse.
