Elenora Thuer

Elenora E. Thuer age 102, of St. Peter, MN, formerly of Sleepy Eye, MN died on January 11, 2015, at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter. Elenora was born on September 26, 1912 in Cobden, MN to Herman and Bertha (Arndt) Krebs. She grew up in Springfield where she met Albert B. Thuer. She married Albert on March 2, 1935 in New Ulm. The couple made their home in Sleepy Eye and were longtime residents. Elenora was a kind, loving person, devoted to her family, always ready to help when needed, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Bob) Werner of St. Peter, Alice (Bill) Loe, Mary (Phil) Alioto, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a sister, OraDell Fischer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Albert in 1987, two brothers and a sister.
