Eleanora Lila Virginia Graff was born September 2, 1917 in Springfield, MN, the daughter of Herman and Ida (Engel) Streich. Eleanora was united in marriage to Leslie Graff on May 18, 1936 at the St. Paul Lutheran Parsonage in Springfield. They farmed near Comfrey from 1936 until the early 1940's. They then moved to the Sanborn area, then Springfield before retiring and moving to Lamberton in 1987. Eleanora worked at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield for several years and became a resident in May of 2000. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield and the Lamberton Church of Christ and enjoyed baking, gardening, quilting, sewing, visiting with friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with the grandkids. Eleanora Graff died Sunday, November 28, 2004 at St. John Lutheran Home at the age of 87 years. Survivors include son- Michael and wife Kim Graff of Springfield; grandchildren- Cody, Casandra and Cylee Graff of Springfield; sister- Elsie Schiller of Springfield; and brother- Donald Streich of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband- Leslie in 1997; son- Lenny in 1999; brothers- Lester, Edwin, Melvin and Raymond Streich; and sisters- Alice Maha and Ardelle Graff.
