Eleanor Adrian

Eleanor Wall Hiebner Adrian, age 100, of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, died on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society - The Lodge in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Eleanor Wall was born on June 20, 1921 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Voshage) Wall. She attended Country School Dist. 33 for 8 years and graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1940. She was baptized at 1st Mennonite Church in 1939. In 1941, she married Cornelius Hiebner from Henderson, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Nebraska the first year and then moved back to Mountain Lake, Minnesota and made their home on a farm south east of town. After a tornado hit their farm in 1979 they moved to town. Eleanor worked at the Good Samaritan Home for several years and Hiebert Greenhouse for several years and she and Cornelius managed the Care and Share from 1984 to 1990. Cornelius passed away on April 29, 1999. On April 17, 2004 she married Ben Adrian. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, quilting, crocheting, traveling and being with family. She is survived by 5 children; Grace (Arnold) Harder of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, Lois (Roger) Reimer of Medford, Oregon, Diane (Dennis) Goodwin of Apache Junction, Arizona, Sharon (Glenn) Kleinsasser of North Mankato, Minnesota, Donald (Kari) Hiebner of Savage, Minnesota, a son-in-law; Lauren Steinle of Butterfield, Minnesota, step-sons; Mike (Betty) Adrian and Jon (Brenda) Adrian of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, sister; Laura (Ted) Lepper of Fresno, California, 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, daughter; Lynette Steinle, son-in-law; Harvey Gilgert, 2 sisters, a brother, 2 infant siblings, and 2 infant grandchildren.
