Eldora was born on March 15, 1920 to William H. Hale Sr. and Florence E. Kuelbs Hale. Armin and Eldora were married on June 4, 1946 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Eden Township, rural Morgan. Together they farmed in Eden Township and attended Zion Lutheran Church in Morgan. They moved to New Ulm in 2000. Eldora enjoyed her very large vegetable and flower gardens, old time dancing, playing cards, bingo, puzzles, sewing, crocheting and visiting with family and friends. Her faith was most important to her and she always was an excellent example for her family. She is survived by daughter, Judy and husband Wayne Zarn of Apple Valley, grandchildren, Elizabeth (Scott) Witty of Mankato, Rebecca Zarn and friend Rob Montague of Bloomington, Jason (Rebecca) Zarn of St. Paul, Rachel (Corey) Baum of Farmington, great-grandchildren, Emma Zarn, Jacob Witty, Sophia and Ava Baum, sisters, Irene Current and Norma Sellner of Sleepy Eye, sisters-in-law, Carol Dittbenner of Morgan and Marilyn Hale of Franklin and many nieces and nephews who she loved very much. Eldora is preceded in death by her husband of 60 1/2 years of marriage, great-grandson, Aiden Baum, sisters, Ruth Schmidt and Shirley Birkeland, brother, William Hale, Jr., brothers-in-law, Rueben Dittbenner, Jerroll Dittbenner, Sr., Lawrence Schmidt, Douglas Current and Roger Birkeland.
