Edward Krzmarzick

There will be a parish prayer service at 7pm Monday at the funeral home. Edward John Krzmarzick was born on April 6th, 1917 in Sleepy Eye, MN the son of John and Anna (Ubel) Krzmarzick. He grew up in Sleepy Eye and attended St. Mary's school. He entered the United States Army Air Force and served as a S/Sgt and airplane mechanic until he was discharged. He married Ethel M. George on December 31,1942 in Lubbock, TX. After they were married, the couple made their home in Sleepy Eye, where they lived and farmed for many years. After retiring from farming, he enjoyed golfing, gardening, and his flowers. Edward was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Sleepy Eye Golf Club, the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus and the C.O.F. Edward is survived by his son, Charles (Kathleen) Krzmarzick of Sleepy Eye, daughter, Sandra (John) Moon of Hastings, brothers, Norbert (Alice) Krzmarzick and Bernhard Krzmarzick and brothers-in-law, Linus Haala and Chisey Hansen, all of Sleepy Eye, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ethel, brothers, James and Harold, sisters, Cecelia Haas, Luella Haala and Leona Kotten.
