Edith Seal

Edith Dorethea Elenora Tuveson was born on January 27, 1913, in St. James, Minnesota, the daughter of Bengt Julia (Johanson) Tuveson. Edith grew up in St. James where she graduated from the St. James High School in 1930. She worked as a telephone operator for several years. On January 1, 1937, Edith was united in marriage to Claude Seal in St. James. The couple continued to reside in St. James. Edith worked at Ralph's Super Value and then for Dr. Schimanski for many years until she retired. Edith passed away on December 8, 2013, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James at the age of 100 years. She is preceded in death by her husband; Claude in 1987, son; James in 2009, brothers; Carl and Victor Tuveson and sister; Elvina Westman. She is survived by her son Robert (Glenna) Seal of Garden Valley, ID, daughter-in0law; Barbara Seal of St. Paul, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews.
