Duane Firchau

Duane Arthur Firchau was born February 20, 1934, in St. James, the son of Albert and Hulda (Johnson) Firchau. Duane attended school in St. James. He worked as a truck driver with Tony Downs Foods out of Butterfield prior to his retirement. Duane enjoyed fishing with family and friends, watching NASCAR racing and old western movies. Duane is survived by his ex-wife; Phyllis Firchau of St. James, children; Shirley (Doug) Wolle of Darfur, Doug Firchau and Lisa Pierson of St. James, Doris Ommodt and Dean Dambroten of Sacred Heart, Brenda (Brad) Olson of Spicer, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, brothers; David Firchau of St. James, Richard Firchau of St. James, Roger Firchau of St. James, sisters; Marion Parent of McIntosh, Patsy Hemauer of Inver Grove Heights, Darlene Harper of Norfolk, VA. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Hulda Firchau and a brother Harlan.
