Dorothy Ann Thulien

Dorothy was born on March 5, 1937 in Morgan, MN to Harold and Laura (Meyer) Zimmerman. She attended and graduated from Morgan Public High School. She attended Union Hospital of Practical Nursing. Dorothy worked at Dr. Howard Vogel's clinic for 2 1/2 years. She married Robert "Bob" Thulien on October 1, 1957 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Morgan. In 1961 they moved to Sleepy Eye where she worked at the Sleepy Eye Clinic and later the Sleepy Eye Chiropractic, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed traveling, fishing and playing cards. She is survived by husband, Robert of Sleepy Eye, sons, Scott (Ann) Thulien of Prior Lake and Bradley (Tammy) Thulien of Newport, 4 grandchildren, siblings, Ruth (Herb) Steffl of Alexandria and Ray Zimmerman of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Delferd and Donald and sisters, Lila Schottenbauer and Helen (Arden) Lemke.
