Dorothy Ann Klein

Dorothy Ann (Wurtzberger) Klein, age 76, of Sleepy Eye, MN passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at her home. Dorothy Ann Klein was born on October 31, 1942 in New Ulm, MN, to Ben and Lorene (Kral) Wurtzberger. She grew up in New Ulm, MN and attended Cathedral High School. She married Otto William (Bill) Klein on November 5, 1960 in New Ulm and they were blessed with eight children. She was an active member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye and helped do sacristy work at the church. She worked at St. Mary's School for many years serving lunch to the children. Dorothy loved going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren's school and athletic events. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends. Dorothy is survived by her children - Jackie (Dan) Reddemann, Jenny (Daryn) Huiras, Jim (Beth) Klein, all of Sleepy Eye, Julie (Jon) Guldan of St. Joseph, MO, Jade (Lisa) Klein of Champlin, MN, Jeremy (Heidi) Klein of Owatonna, MN and Jeff (Kelly) Klein of Ironton, MN; grandchildren- Heather (Grant) Romberg, Lindsey (Tim) Mages, Dylan, Lauren, Morgan, and Kayden Klein, Moriah (Alex) Phillips, Nicholas, Ashley and Christopher Guldan, Abby and Andrew Klein, Zack and Jordan Klein, and Gracesen and Kellen Klein; step-grandchildren - Alex Noble, Shelby (Gary) Marowelli, and Payton (Ethan) Graham; great-grandchildren - Paige, Alyssa, Kaytlyn, Robert, Colton, Reid, Zoey and Jaycee Romberg and Travis and Peyton Mages; brothers - Richard (Barb) Wurtzberger and Stan (Rose) Wurtzberger; sisters - Elaine Wurtzberger and special friend John Clyne, Linda (Gary) Trimnell; sisters-in-law - Cindy Wurtzberger, Linda Brennan, Karen (John) Huettl, Judy (Robert) Paulson, Joanne Klein and Cathy Klein; brother-in-law - Roger Sellner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto William (Bill) Klein on March 14, 1999, a daughter, Janelle in infancy, her parents, parents-in-law; brothers - Ken Wurtzberger and Dale Wurtzberger; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law- Barbara and Glen Sliger, Marian Sellner, Virginia and Con Schroeder, Dianne Fischer, James Klein, Roger Klein and Jerry Klein.
