Dorothy Heintz

Dorothy Heintz was born November 12th, 1927, at Granite Falls, Minnesota to Olaf and Hattie Holseid. On June 5, 1948, she was married to Marion Shorty Heintz. They farmed in Nevada and Collins before moving to Clear Lake in 1961, where they continued to farm. She loved to cook, garden and can food, read and care for her family. Dorothy moved to Minnesota where she met and married Dean French at their farm home in rural Lamberton, Minnesota. Dorothy later moved to Springfield, Minnesota. Survivors include her four children Shirley (Mark Kennett) Heintz, Bemiji, MN, Marlis (Bill) Flanders, Lake Stevens, WA., Marion A. (Mary) Heintz, Marengo, IA and Jacqueline (Tom Laws) Heintz of Marshalltown, IA; nine grandchildren, two step granddaughters and nine great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren.
