Dorothy Frisch

Dorothy Frisch, age 87, of St. James, died on Monday, January 30, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato. Funeral services will be 10:30am, Friday, February 3, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia with Rev. Bruce Bringle officiating. Burial will be at Rosendale Lutheran Cemetery in rural St. James. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2012, from 5pm to 7pm at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Dorothy's life revolved around her love of home and family. She loved gardening and sharing her home-canned goods with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and cared lovingly for many wild birds that called her yard and grove their home. Dorothy resided on the family farm and lived there until the time of her death. She is survived by her children; Gordon (Elizabeth) Frisch of Santa Fe, NM, Charles (Peggy) Frisch of Finlayson, Jeanne (Michael) Burke of St. James, David (Rebecca) Frisch of Colorado Springs, CO, Joseph (Katherine) Frisch of Madelia, grandchildren; Jake John Frisch, Pete, Justin, Nick, Tanya, Sasha Lena Frisch, Molly Westman, Melissa Curry, Meggie Munsterman, Stephanie Leasure, Tony Frisch, Heidi Frisch, Liana Ellen Frisch, 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, son Douglas, 2 grandchildren; Jason Joanna Armendariz, parents, brother; Richard Dick Lakey and a sister; Lucy Hoye.
