Dorothy Frances Buetow

Dorothy Frances Buetow was born on October 17, 1921 to Herbert and Dora (Kumm) Stein in Codington County, SD near Watertown, SD. She was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church in Rauville Township and confirmed at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Watertown, SD. In 1937, she moved with her parents near Lamberton, MN. On March 18, 1940, Dorothy was united in marriage to Willmer Buetow in Estherville, IA. They farmed northwest of Lamberton until moving into town in 1985. They were blessed with 4 children. Dorothy was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband Willmer of Lamberton; children - Maynard (Dee) Buetow of Burnsville, Diane (Gary) Graff of Lamberton, Judith (Dennis) Wambeke of Minneota; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Donna Cambronne; granddaughter Connie Graff Irlbeck; 2 grandsons in infancy - Matthew Wambeke and baby Cambronne; sisters - Harriet (Art) Buetow and Eunice Stein.
