Doris Kosel

Doris Kosel was born September 15, 1922 to William and Helen (Arnhold) Radtke in Walnut Grove, MN. Doris married Llewellyn Kosel on June 18, 1941 in Walnut Grove. Following marriage, the couple lived on their farm for 55 years. Doris and Llewellyn moved to Springfield in 2002. In January of 2014 Doris moved to the Maples at St. John Lutheran Home. She then moved to St. John Lutheran Home for 2 months before passing away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. She is survived by children- Marsha (Jim) Renner of Waconia, Charlotte (John) Altermatt of Wanda, Brian (Linda) Kosel of Owatonna, and Kevin (Paulette) Kosel of Redwood Falls; 13 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Helen Jean Anderson of Spencer, IA; and sister-in-law Delores Knoll of Groton, SD.
