Dorean Hoffman

Dorean Lena Hoffman was born on August 12, 1923 in Willow Lake Township, Redwood County, the daughter of Herman and Augusta (Wagner) Hoffman. She attended country school and helped with the family farm. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake Township where she was baptized and confirmed. Dorean enjoyed cooking, gardening and helping with the farm. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor. Dorean lived on the farm her entire life before moving to St. John Lutheran Home in 2008. Dorean died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her brother - Ronald Hoffman of Walnut Grove; sisters - Lois Emery of Hayfield, MN and Ardella (Roger) Ankrum of Luck, WI and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers - Warren and Ivan; and sisters - Mildred Blume, Lorraine Fennern and Dolores Fennern.
