Donald Kenneth Forsyth

Donald Kenneth Forsyth was born on November 28, 1922 to Frank and Edna (Hegstrom) Forsyth. He was educated in a 1 room school house - District 23 and graduated from St. James High School in 1940. Following high school, Donald completed two years at Gustavus Adolphus and served in the US Army. He was overseas from 1944-1946. On February 16, 1947, Donald married Marie Johnson. He farmed for 18 years and worked for 23 years as an USDA inspector. Donald Kenneth Forsyth age 93, of Saint James, MN passed away on October 10, 2016, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center- St. James. Donald is survived by his 7 children, James of Lake Crystal, Mark (Diane) of Rapid City, David (Charlene) of St. James, SueAnn (Dale Schuch) of Eagan, LuAnn of Madelia, Nancy of Darfur, Michael of Mankato; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Marie; brothers, Leslie, Milton; sisters, Frances Ostberg, Florence Torkelson and daughter-in-law, Patti Forsyth.
