Diana Pidde

Diana Jo was born on June 20, 1950 in Comfrey, MN, the daughter of Ike LaDonna (Fredin) Ericksen. She graduated from Comfrey High School in 1968 and was united in marriage to Roger Pidde on April 26, 1969. They were blessed with three children, Mike, Amy and Jeremy. In September 2000, Diana moved to the Ochre Street Apartments. She did all she could to stay involved in her grandchildren's activities and had great care from the workers that helped her. On February 7, 2012 she became ill after a 30 year battle with MS. She peacefully passed away on February 24, 2012. Diana enjoyed baking, especially banana bread and chocolate chip cookies, going to the lake, shopping and spending time with her family. She was an avid volunteer for the school including Eyes and Ears Screening, Project Charlie Reading Program and participated in the community education classes. She is survived by her children, Mike (Jen) Pidde of Mt. Lake, Amy (Darren) Kunkel of Comfrey, Jeremy (Angie) Pidde of Comfrey, grandchildren, Jill Marshnick, Colton Kunkel, Dylan and Brianna Pidde, Hailey, Sam and Lucille Pidde, great grandchildren, Kylie, parents, Ike and LaDonna Ericksen of Comfrey, brother, Jerry (LaDonna) Ericksen of Comfrey, sisters, Laurie Haugen of Windom, Janet (Jon) Hansen of Sleepy Eye and many nieces and nephews.
