Dennis Grogan

Dennis Grogan age 65, of Lewisville, MN died on December 1, 2020, at his home. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel in Madelia, MN. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Dennis Patrick Grogan was born on March 20, 1955 in St. Paul, MN to John and Eileen (Philben) Grogan. Dennis worked in the St. Paul area for many years as a general contractor. He worked as a carpenter from the age of 14 but pursued a college education later in life. He was a graduate from Hamline University in 2014 and from Hamline-Mitchell Law School in 2017. Due to illness, he was not able to work in Elder Law, which was his area of legal study. In 2019, he moved to Lewisville, MN to experience life in a small, rural town. He was very happy in his new home and was working steadily on remodeling his home with the help of his family and friends until his passing. Dennis is suvived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Craig) Staker and grandchildren, Sage and Trey; daughter, Colleen Grogan (David Loetscher) and grandchildren, Arin, Raeny and Nicholas; step-son, Austin Graves (Babita Panigrahi); siblings, Patricia DeVries, Steve (Karla) Grogan, Mark (Lisa) Grogan, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Graves; parents, John and Eileen Grogan; siblings, Robert, James, John, Thomas Grogan, Ann Gigrich and Susan Krick.
