Deciderio Aguirre Flores age 73, of Madelia, MN died on February 8, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church, Madelia, on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 10:30am. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral at Sturm Funeral Home, Madelia Chapel from 9:30-10:30am.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Madelia.

Deciderio Aguirre Flores was born December 19, 1952 in Corpus Christi, TX. He has been a citizen of Madelia, MN since the 1970's. On July 25, 1975, he married Maria Luisa Martinez and the two of them spent more that 48 years together before her passing in April of 2024. They raised their children, Daniel, Norma, Leticia, Deciderio Jr., Cristela, Cristina, and Angelica in Madelia. Deciderio worked at Tony Downs Foods in Madelia for 45 years. He enjoyed gardening, grilling, fishing, bonfires, watching action movies, walking, bike riding and walking his dog, Deebo. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Deciderio is survived by his sons, Daniel Flores, Deciderio Flores, Jr; daughters, Norma Flores-Gerzon, Leticia Weisz, Cristela Flores, Cristina Flores, Angelica Flores; grandchildren, Xavier Steven Flores, Gabriel Alexander Gerzon, Tristan Aidan Gerzon, Vincent Ace Gerzon, Vanessa Weisz, Xavier Hartman, Jackson James Blacksted, Sienna Belle Flores, Amari Marianne Flores, Anthony Flores, Kiara Flores, Gael Flores, Alex Michael Yokiel, and Sebastian Flores. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felicitos Flores and Maria Conception; wife, Maria Luisa Flores; and grandchildren, Jesus and Sonya Flores.
