Debra Schmit

She was born October 6, 1959 in Stillwater, MN to Kenneth and Phyllis (Foley) Maitrejean. Debra graduated from Stillwater High School, Class of 1977. She was employed by Kraft Foods in New Ulm, MN. Debbie was Past President of V.F.W. Auxiliary #800 and Past President of B.A. Remmele American Legion in Sleepy Eye. Preceded in death by father Kenneth on October 7, 1974. Survived by son Joseph Schmit; boyfriend Steve Longworth both of Sleepy Eye; sister Roxanne (Ed) Ecker of Sleepy Eye; brother Ken (Karen) Maitrejean of New Richmond, WI; niece and nephews Daniel (Danielle) Ecker of New Ulm, MN, Adam Ecker of Comfrey, MN, Kimberly Ecker of Sleepy Eye, Tyler and Blake Maitrejean of New Richmond, WI; great nephew and great nieces Chandler, Taylor, Reva Ecker and Liliana Martinez.
