Deanne died on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the St. James Medical Center as a result of a motor vehicle accident. A rosary is planned for 4pm Thursday at the funeral home. Deanne Kay Fisch was born December 26, 1968 at Lawton, OK, the daughter of Adrian and Janet (Cords) Fisch. She graduated from St. James High School in 1987. She received her Corrections degree from Iowa Community College, and her bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota, Mankato. She worked for Watonwan County as a Child Protection Specialist. Deanne married Michael Montemurno in 1986. They had three children ,Justin, Janessa and Jenaka, and one grandchild Vincent. In 2001, she married Douglas Louris. Her children and grandchild were the joy of Deanne's life. She often said being a grandma to Vincent was one of her greatest blessings. Deanne had a passion for caring for others. Her ready smile and gentle ways endeared her to her family, friends, and co-workers. She had a gift for taking on the cares of others and holding them in her heart. In her profession, this was a quality that drove her to always do the best for the children she protected. She was an awesome sister to her brothers Matt and Andy, and loving and kind to their families. She was not only a daughter, she was a friend. She is preceded in death by her father Adrian Fisch and brother-in-law Matt Louris. Deanne is survived by her son Justin Montemurno of Mankato, daughters Janessa Montemurno and Jenaka Montemurno of St. James, grandson Vincent Montemurno of St. James, mother Janet Fisch of Butterfield, brothers Matt (Rebeca) Fisch of St. James, Andy (Mandy) Fisch of Butterfield, grandmothers Eileen Fisch of Mesa, AZ, Betty Dale of St. Peter, 10 nieces and nephews and 2 ex-husbands Mike Montemurno of Mankato and Douglas Louris of Madelia.
